Wow, 25 drawings done. I have to admit when I first started this project, I didn’t think it was gonna go this slowly. To be fair, the drawings have evolved into paintings, as that seems more to be where my creative head is at lately. Especially in the upcoming months. I have a bunch of group shows (too many?) locked down for 2011 and 2012 has a huge solo show lined up for March. I’ll be slaving away all year and into the next to get the body of work done, and I’m very excited. I won’t say exactly where yet, but I’ll leak sneak peeks and of course Twitter progress shots as time goes on. This one will be my biggest and best collection of work to date and I’m very excited and terrified.
Anyway, enjoy Number 25: a mishmash of many different mediums, and even some gold leaf which I’ve been experimenting with lately.
