Number 79- Again, With Resin!

by ncwinters on January 8, 2013

So here’s the second in a row of 100 Drawings that was destined for a mounted, resined treatment.

The finished varnished painting is mounted to wood panel, revarnished and flooded with a coat of resin. Makes the colors and details pop, makes it all shiny. The only drag is that it’s near impossible to photograph with any kind of accuracy. This one is up for grabs, Wednesday, January 9. For the exact drop time, make sure to jump on my newsletter over there in the sidebar. This one was fun, and got a little carried away. Look for it soon as a print release, with a few variant options! Enjoy!

Pen, acrylic and acrylic ink on paper, mounted to cradled panel, resined. 10″ x 12″ x 2″ (2013)
Number 79 of 100 Drawings.

Here’s a shot of the final resined product. Again: difficult to photograph,
but in reality looks just as clear as the topmost image.
