First Works of 2015!

by ncwinters on January 6, 2015

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone’s holidays were merry. The new year got off to a slightly rocky start on this end due to some slightly overzealous celebrating on the last day of last year. Ahem. But I’m back and have hit the ground running. Many new projects, and an onslaught of new work coming your way. One of my goals this year is at least one video, and hopefully several uploaded to the YouTubez for your viewing pleasure. I’m going to try and buckle down and get back to making smaller affordable pieces more often to both hone my skills, and well, pay the bills. Hope you’re with me for the ride!

I’ve been experimenting with new ink and color techniques. It’s an enjoyable exercise, forcing me to stretch my wings and push through barriers. There is much work to do, but I am enjoying the early progress. More to come on this front for 2015. The first few pieces are clowns. For some reason, I can’t seem to keep clowns out of my work over the years. To some, they are beloved, to many they are feared. I always felt a strange sadness about them. In any case, here are a few for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
