Well, I guess it wouldn’t be a Holiday Sale 2011 (yes, I know I originally mistakenly said 2012, sue me!) without a new entry in the 100 Drawings project.
This one is another in my “natural” theme where various elements of human biology and natural earth biology are blended. To put it simply, another painting of a girl in a tree. There’s more to it than that, but that’s another story for another day. Someday I’ll get THAT show all together. Fall is rolling in, and in comes some new art for your eyeballs.
The latest of 100 Drawings is here: Poisonous Icon, acrylic on paper. I hope to be leaking some progress photos soon of the big show I’m working on for early 2012. I’m up to about 14 paintings at this point, none of which anyone has yet seen. It’s been brutal keeping so tight-lipped about showing the stuff, but I may let some sneak peeks slip out soon.
