I’m pleased to announce my participation in the Art for Awareness Fundraiser group art show with the Oceanic Awareness Collaboration (OAC) and Thinkspace Gallery. In their own words:

A collaborative group show with an effort to raise awareness & funding
for the purpose & progression of Oceanic Awareness Collaboration.
Proceeds will be designated as scholarships & creative sustainability projects.
This art show will directly benefit The O.A.C. Fund, which provides underprivileged
kids with scholarships to attend CIMI Marine Biology Camp on Catalina Island, CA.
Proceeds will also fund OAC’s creative endeavors built around art, music & fashion
to make a difference in the youth culture & to provide positive change both locally & globally.
O.A.C. is a 501(c)3 tax deductible charity organization.

I had a ton of fun creating my piece for the show: “Plastic Feast” and enjoyed injecting it with some relevant environmental concerns. The show is one night only, at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City, California. Opening reception with the artists Saturday, March 30, 2013 5:00 – 9:00PM. I’ll be in attendance, come by and enjoy the art for a good cause! Enjoy!

A new pop culture print release for your nostalgic pleasure!
“Make ‘Em Laugh” is a recent commissioned painting that will be released as a limited edition print through the great guys at 1xRUN. After the last success of the Overdrive print release through 1xRUN, we’re back for round two. The prints are 16″ x 20″ archival pigment prints on 330gsm fine art paper, available for $65 each. Every print is signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity from 1xRUN and N.C. Winters. There will also be a framed option available for an additional $125. At long last I can unveil this amazing project I’m lucky enough to be involved with!
I am extremely honored to be included in this fantastic show, put on by HBO in conjunction with MONDO Gallery. I am one of twenty-two artists asked to create art based on the excellent Game of Thrones show on HBO from the orginal novels by George R.R. Martin. The art show will pemiere in Austin at Mondo Gallery during SXSW as Game of Thrones prepares to launch into it’s third season. I’ve been under strict wraps not to reveal the art until it’s time. Well, it’s finally time. Enjoy!
