I am beyond excited for the newest group show I’m lucky enough to be involved with.
I have been included in a group of amazing artists in “The Official Bad Robot Experience” put on by Gallery 1988 in conjunction with JJ Abrams himself! Artists were asked to create works based on the diverse realms of film and TV from the mind of JJ Abrams. In G1988’s own words:
Working with JJ Abrams and The Missions Continues (an incredible charity that works with veterans in efforts to help them become community leaders), over 100 artists have been commissioned to create artwork based on the production houses’ TV shows, movies and logo. Paintings, prints, sculptures and plush will be on display influenced by LOST, Alias, Fringe & Revolution, and movies like Super 8, Cloverfield & Star Trek.
Ten percent of all proceeds will benefit The Mission Continues.
The show’s opening reception is this Friday, April 24, from 7-10PM. I’ll be there, geeking out with everyone else, gawking at the amazing artwork and hoping to snag a photo with JJ himself. See you there!

A new one for your 100 Drawings pleasure.
This one was rather off-the-cuff, started while working on one of several projects on my plate at the moment. Wanted to keep it as saturated black as possible, without using any actual black. Done with liquid acrylic ink washes on watercolor paper, I added pure titanium white acrylic highlights at the end to pop a little more depth. Enjoy!
