It’s been awhile, but I’ve got a new super limited edition print release.
This time I’m changing things up a bit. This print drop will be super limited as a test for potential future print runs. In the past I’ve offered the first one or two prints mounted to wood and resined, and those often sell out instantly with a couple of frustrated emails from those who missed out. So this time, yes, the whole run will be available mounted and resined. To test the waters and see how interest fares, the run will be extremely limited to only 10 total. If these go over well, future runs may be a bit higher, but only time will tell.
The print is of “Low Key Resplendent,” a recent popular painting. The prints are 6″ x 8″ and mounted to three quarter-inch high quality pine ply. Each is then numbered and resined for a slick glossy look that is best appreciated in person, as they are nearly impossible to photograph! The prints will be available Monday, February 23. For the best chance to purchase one, make sure you’re signed up for the newsletter in the sidebar as newsletter subscribers will be sent the exact drop time. Prints are $100 each plus shipping, limit one per household. Enjoy!

Friends,
The time has come for the third annual PRISMA Artist Collective group show this Saturday at Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco. I’ve had the pleasure to be a member of the collective for a couple years and am honored to show beside them again for this year’s annual show. Each member of the group is asked to do a work of their own choosing, no theme, just something that strongly represents their personal work, and the works I’ve seen all look stunning. I wish I could make it to the show, but I understand several members will be in attendance to answer questions, sign books and be their general cheery PRISMA selves. As a special bonus, the first 75 people in the door get a free 8″x10″ print from one of three PRISMA artists in the collective: Kelly McKernan, Caitlin Hackett or Redd Walitzki.
Get there early for your best chance at getting a free print, as lines have been known to wrap around the block at Spoke Gallery.

In conjunction with the gallery show, we’ll be releasing our first book, featuring every member of the collective and some insight into our process for creating art. The book looks gorgeous and has been designed beautifully by PRISMA member Tom Bagshaw. From Spoke:
The individual working processes of PRISMA’s traditional and digital painters, collage artists, and sculptors have been documented step by step, from start to finish for this book, and the group also give in-depth answers to their most frequently asked questions from fans and followers. Many of the work in progress pieces documented for the book will be shown at the gallery as part of the 3rd Annual Group Show, giving the spectator the intimate experience of following the initial sketch to the final artwork on the wall.
Some specifics about the book from PRISMA Collective founder Kaspian Shore:
“The PRISMA Book is a 260 pages strong collection of artwork from 28 international creatives, step by step photo documentations of each artist’s working process, as well as in depth answers to frequently asked questions from fans and followers. The deluxe softcover book measures 8.5” x 11” and comes with a silver foil blocking on cover and spine. A very limited edition of 50 copies will be sold through Spoke Art on February 7th at the opening night of The PRISMA Collective 3rd Annual Group Show, and made available to customers outside San Francisco on February 9th via Spoke Art’s online store.”
Enjoy the show and book, and best to you all for 2015.
