It’s back. My favorite convention of the year, plus a brand new Primus gig poster to boot!
DesignerCon is back, and once again, taking place in the Anaheim Convention Center, this weekend November 22–24. I had a blast last year and have loved seeing the evolution of the convention as it gets bigger and better every year. I’ll be exhibiting once again and bringing some exclusives and rarities, as well as conversation and maybe even some sketches here and there. I’m booth 2616, check the map below for my location. As always, any remaining products that don’t sell during the show will be available in my online storefront next week.
Before I get to my DesignerCon gear, I’m stoked to announce my new Primus poster for their gig last night in Colorado! Always a pleasure to make work for Primus- they were the first band I was ever able to do gig posters for, plus their music makes it easy to just go weird and wild, and this time was no exception. Extremely happy with how the final printing turned out, thanks once again to the crew at Lady Lazarus for an impeccable job. The prints are seven colors on natural stock, with an artist variant colorway on paper, on holographic foil, as well as a desaturated “keyline” variant featuring just the tonal values, in addition to the main show version.
The main portion of the print run will go online for purchase Friday, November 22 at a random time. As always, to get the exact drop time, be sure to be signed up to the newsletter.
I will also have a portion of each print edition available at DesignerCon. As an extra bonus, I’m bringing a couple hand-embellished prints available exclusively at DesignerCon, strictly limited to one per person/purchase.

Expertly printed once again by Dave Correia, the prints really pop in person. Same terms as last time for these: 8″ x 10″ at $35 apiece, limit of 2 per person. I’ll have a couple hand embellished verisons of these in the $100 range with a limit of one per person.

New gig poster for a new band (for me)!
Happy to announce my latest gig poster: done for the band Umphrey’s McGee for their double-header gig at the Fillmore in Philadelphia, this past Friday and Saturday November 1-2. Had a blast working on this one, and absolutely thrilled with the job the crew at End Hymns did on the printing. Had a lot of subtle effects going on for this one, and they absolutely nailed the printing, yet again. The prints are seven color screenprints on natural off-white stock, with a rainbow foil variant as well. Also added a desaturated version, with just the transparent brown layers, as that is my new favorite way of treating the main tones for my prints as of late. Thought it would be a good look to just showcase those tonal layers in their own limited stand alone print.
The prints will be available this coming Wednesday, November 20 in the online shop. As usual, you’ll need to be subscribed to the online newsletter to get the exact drop time. Lately I’ve been receiving handfuls of emails from people claiming they haven’t been getting the newsletter. Check your spam folder, or try signing up again, and double check the spelling on your email address in the form.
