New Dave Matthews Band Gig Poster!

The last poster I did for Dave Matthews Band was for a virtual gig. It was almost a year ago, and concerts weren’t really an option due to the pandemic. But now, as more and more people get vaccinated and some of the doors of the old ways of life open back up, well…it feels good to be doing gig posters for live music again. Especially for such a great client.

I’m really happy with how this poster turned out, especially with the extra time and attention from the crew at Lady Lazarus. I’ve been working with Issac and Aleisha for years. In addition to their production skills, I’m consistently appreciative of their knowledge as they work with me in my continual journey to best create and prepare art for the screenprint process. Their patience and advice have been a real boon to my success in this medium. Special thanks to them.

The silkscreened posters are 7 colors on Cougar 100# natural white paper, and 8 colors (7 colors plus a white base) for foil variants printed on holographic rainbow foil. In addition to my variants on paper and foil, I’ll have 5 prints of each colorway on paper that are hand embellished with inks and acrylics, for those looking for something extra.

From what I’ve heard, the posters sold out pretty quick at the show, which is always a delight to hear. My artist variant copies will go on sale this coming Wednesday, September 22 at a random time. New Stickers!

Happy to announce new sticker packs and a new OVERsize sticker! I’ve partnered up once again with the great crew at Sticker Robot to release both a new Pack O’ Stickers as well as my first oversize mega sticker!

I’ve collected all five rascals in the “Chroma Lizardo” lizard family and made stickers out of them. They know what they did. The set of all five different colored 2.25” x 3.75” Chroma lads will be available in a pack for $10 (plus shipping). As always, making the type for these Packs is some of my favorite work! But enough about branding.

Additionally, a new “Pale Rider” sticker (the chameleon boi from a particularly popular particular Primus poster), at a whopping 7” x 9” will be available for $25 each. Pale Rider stickers are a limited edition of 275, each hand signed and numbered. On the back, because the front would mar up the sticker.

As a special treat, 20 lucky buyers will receive a hand embellished Pale Rider sticker instead of the regular old sticker they were hoping for. Each one of these is drawn on and painted with inks and acrylics just because (once again, on the back, see below). No purchase limits on quantity! (But only one hand embellished sticker per order/household/buyer, shucks).

These stickers are of the highest quality, masterfully screenprinted by the sorcerer robots at Sticker Robot. Seriously I’ve worked with these folks for years, and Zoltron, who runs the shop is a particularly fond friend and incredible artist. Honestly, you could do a lot worse than to check out his work.
