Gig poster number two!
Thrilled to be back again with another new gig poster. Mega thanks once again to the mysterious Zoltron for calling me in for this one. These have been some of my favorite projects to date, and it’s a real joy to try and push myself every time in terms of detail, composition, and technical execution. Still feel like I’m only scratching the surface, but have been overwhelmed by the positive response so far.
The gig was Primus with Clutch on July 27 at the Lake Champlain Festival in Burlington, VT. I ended up doing three colorways: the main, a cool version entitled “Twilight” and a warm version called “Dusk.”These were fun and a new higher level technical challenge to pull off, working completely with the transparent inks to create dozens of final colors. I think I’ll be pulling back on some of the over-the-top detail and color count on future runs, but who knows? There’s also a small run of the main colorway on rainbow foil and one separate keyline variant, due to numerous requests. Those two will be super limited, so grab one quick if you’re interested.
