Happy to announce my newest print: \u201cJust a Peek.\u201d<\/strong> It’s the art print version of my recent Dave Matthews Band poster, which has received more positive response than any of my other gig posters to date! I\u2019m humbled by the support of the image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This piece was designed as an art print from the very beginning. I wanted to do an almost purely natural scene, with emphasis on lighting and depth. I really fell into and had a\u00a0blast with this piece. The prints are seven colors on both Cougar 100# natural paper stock as well as holographic rainbow foil in three different colorways: “Dusk,” “Nocturne” and “Midnight.”\u00a0The silver border element features\u00a0a metallic silver ink which really pops off the paper. For the holographic rainbow foil version, this silver is dropped out\u00a0with the metallic foil shining\u00a0through. The final effect of\u00a0the border, horns and eyes shimmering in\u00a0holographic reflective foil\u00a0turned out extremely well and has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. I normally try to avoid using foils for my art prints, but the result for “Just a Peek” turned out incredibly well and I’m excited to have this as an option for this print, in very limited quantities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special thanks to Lady Lazarus for their attention and care on the printing. Screenprinting is always a collaboration, and this print (especially the midnight version) could have ended up very differently if they weren\u2019t on their game both in terms of excellent color mixing and tight registration. Thank you to Isaac, Aleisha and the rest of their team as always (now just hurry up on Spring Eternal!)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, a huge thank you to everyone for their continued support of my work. I\u2019ve been in the weeds in terms of scheduling for a long time now, but after a recent vacation, I’m working to try and get the business side in gear a little better. My goal is to have more efficient turnaround times on shipping, hopefully through\u00a0the hiring of staff, as well as through other time\u00a0management solutions. Additionally, my goal is to have a better emphasis on work\/life balance to try and get my mental state on a better track. The business has reached a point where I need to make some serious decisions about my time and energy and I\u2019m excited about the possibilities\u00a0it might open up. Only time will tell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
